Springer controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements: 1) Refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the Full Load Amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply. Be sure to confirm whether it is 1phase or 3phase power to the motor. Choose a starter rated for current (Amps) higher than the FLA of your motor. 2) Choose the control power used to close the contactor. 3) Choose the overload by selecting a current range that contains the FLA of the motor from step 1. Once you have done this it should narrow down the starters to only options suitable for your motor and power requirements. Then select your starter based on the following optional criteria: 4) Incoming power: If the line power will be used as the control power as well, this is referred to as a "direct-online starter": If the control voltage is not the same as the line voltage we refer to this as "separate control voltage": If the starter needs to be activated from an external switch, we add terminals to accept the control power input from that switch. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements: 1) Refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the Full Load Amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply. Be sure to confirm whether it is 1phase or 3phase power to the motor. Choose a starter rated for current (Amps) higher than the FLA of your motor. 2) Choose the control power used to close the contactor. 3) Choose the overload by selecting a current range that contains the FLA of the motor from step 1. Once you have done this it should narrow down the starters to only options suitable for your motor and power requirements. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements: 1) Refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the Full Load Amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply. Be sure to confirm whether it is 1phase or 3phase power to the motor. These Springer Controls GMK motor protection switches are true manual motor starters. A model GMK motor protection switch is a three-pole horsepower-rated switch that combines motor thermal overload protection and magnetic short circuit protection in one compact unit. The GMK series is ideal for applications requiring multi-motor protection; these starters can be group fused. Any of these switches can be wired for single phase applications per the wiring diagram included in the box. All GMK manual motor starters are specifically engineered with a comprehensive list of motor protection features. These motor protection switches are available in a range from 0-32 amps. All poles are open for both thermal and magnetic trips. Easy operation with start and stop buttons maximize user control. The GMK line features differential protection against asymmetrical overloads (single phase protection.) All of these manual motor starters feature class 10 overload protection. These starters sport ambient temperature compensation from 23 Fahrenheit 104 Fahrenheit. An instant magnetic trip activates when current through the relay is 12 times the maximum thermal setting. The terminals of these starters are easily accessible yet protected from accidental contact. All of these GMK switches are suitable up to 690V. Model GMK motor protection switches are designed for easy din-rail mounting. Single switch enclosures specifically designed for these starters are also available from Global Industrial Equipment. Springer controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements: 1) Refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the Full Load Amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply. Be sure to confirm whether it is 1phase or 3phase power to the motor. Choose a starter rated for current (Amps) higher than the FLA of your motor. 2) Choose the control power used to close the contactor. 3) Choose the overload by selecting a current range that contains the FLA of the motor from step 1. Once you have done this it should narrow down the starters to only options suitable for your motor and power requirements. Springer controls manufactures a complete line of IEC enclosed AC motor starters up to 60HP or 80A. Assembled motor starters consist of a contactor, overload relay and a NEMA 4X rated polycarbonate enclosure. To select the proper starter for your requirements: 1) Refer to the motor or equipment nameplate to verify the Full Load Amperage (FLA) at the input voltage you will supply. Be sure to confirm whether it is 1phase or 3phase power to the motor. Choose a starter rated for current (Amps) higher than the FLA of your motor. 2) Choose the control power used to close the contactor. 3) Choose the overload by selecting a current range that contains the FLA of the motor from step 1. Once you have done this it should narrow down the starters to only options suitable for your motor and power requirements. Then select your starter based on the following optional criteria: 4) Incoming power: If the line power will be used as the control power as well, this is referred to as a "direct-online starter": If the control voltage is not the same as the line voltage we refer to this as "separate control voltage": If the starter needs to be activated from an external switch, we add terminals to accept the control power input from that switch.
