Today, we’re diving into the world of blushes, and I’m thrilled to share my thoughts on a cult-favorite: Milani Baked Blushes. If you’re anything like me, finding that perfect flush of color can feel like a makeup treasure hunt. But fear not, because I’ve got the inside scoop on these radiant compacts of pigment. From the silky texture to the stunning shades, I’ll be spilling all the details you need to know about these Milani gems. So, if you’re on the hunt for a Milani baked blush and not sure which shade to get keep reading! I’ve got swatches and my personal review for you.  Milani Baked Blush Shades The Milani baked blushes come in eight different shades, and there is one for every skin tone to love. The shades are (from left to right): Dolce Pink, Rose D’Oro, Berry Amore, Luminoso, Bellissimo Bronze, Corallina, Bella Bellini, and Petal Primavera. These blushes are actually baked on Italian terracotta tiles, are vegan, cruelty-free, and made in Italy. The Milani baked blush formula is amazing – very soft and buttery, gives a silky smooth application, and is easy to blend. The blushes are perfect for not only beginners, but the experienced makeup lovers, as well. If you’re looking for the most beautiful blush from the drugstore, look no further. I love so many Milani products, and these blushes are at the top of my list.  Dolce PinkSHOP AT: AMAZON // TARGET // WALMART // ULTA Dolce Pink is described as a “shimmery warm pink.” It is a true pink color with a shimmer finish. The shimmer is not glittery at all – just a lovely glow. This shade in particular will look fabulous on a variety of skin tones. Rose D’OroSHOP AT: AMAZON // TARGET // WALMART // ULTA Rose D’Oro is described as a “rosey copper with satin finish.” This is a gorgeous warm toned rose gold shade that’s perfect for the fall. There is a slight luminous finish, but it definitely leans more satin finish. While I do think this shade will work well on a variety of skin tones, I think it especially will look gorgeous on medium skin tones. Berry AmoreSHOP AT: AMAZON // TARGET // WALMART // ULTA Berry Amore is described as a “peachy bronze with satin finish.” This is my most-used shade out of the bunch! I don’t hear many people talking it about it as much as some of the other shades, but it’s truly gorgeous. I love how it feels pretty neutral (doesn’t lean too warm or too cool), and the satin finish gives a nice glow to the cheek. There’s a little bit of gold shimmer going through this one, but it blends out when you swirl your brush into the pan. I feel like this shade will look good on nearly everyone! LuminosoSHOP AT: AMAZON // TARGET // WALMART // ULTA Milani Luminoso blush is one of those cult-favorite products among many, as it’s said to be a Nars Orgasm dupe! It’s definitely their most popular shade. It is very similar to the Nars, just a tad bit more peachy and less pink. Luminoso is described as a “luminous peach with satin finish.” I would say this is more of a glowy blush than a satin blush for sure. It’s peachy, that’s for sure! I feel like this blush will look especially amazing on fair skin tones. No need for highlighter when wearing this one – it’s glowy enough on its own! Bellissimo BronzeSHOP AT: AMAZON // TARGET // WALMART // ULTA Bellissimo Bronze is described as a “shimmery warm bronze.” It is very warm toned, and gives off warm bronzer vibes. I would say this shade is better suited for deeper skin tones, but could look amazing buffed in with a very light hand. It’s got a very nice shimmer to it, as well. A little goes a long way with this one! CorallinaSHOP AT: AMAZON // TARGET // WALMART // ULTA Corallina is described as a “bright shimmery coral” in its product description on Milani’s website. It’s got some flecks of glitter in it, so if that’s not your thing, skip this one. The shade, undertone, mélange infusion of colors, and warm finish are absolutely gorgeous with this product. I’d say this shade will work on most skin tones! Bella BelliniSHOP AT: AMAZON // TARGET // WALMART // ULTA Bella Bellini is described as a “warm pink with metallic finish.” It’s got a golden shimmer shift to it, which is absolutely gorgeous! This luxurious powder blush could even work as a blush topper because of the metallic shift to it. No need for a highlighter! It’s one of my top favorites in the Milani baked blush collection. Petal PrimaveraSHOP AT: AMAZON // TARGET // WALMART // ULTA Petal Primavera is described as a “light petal pink with satin finish.” This is another one of my favorite blush colors. It has nice neutral undertone so it will go with most makeup looks. I would say this shade is best suited for light-medium skin tones. The satin finish has a slight sheen to it, but I would not call this a shimmery blush. It’s absolutely gorgeous and a great shade for beginners if you’re not sure which one to get. Overall Thoughts on the Milani Baked BlushesThe Milani Cosmetics baked blushes are honestly some of the best you can grab at the drugstore. The best features they have are that they have the most amazing texture, they have a beautiful shade range, and feel so high quality. There’s a reason why makeup gurus all over love these Milani blushes! My personal favorite shades are Berry Amore, Petal Primavera, and and Bella Bellini. You cannot beat these at that price point! Okay, I know it sounds ridiculous that I own more than seven best drugstore under eye concealers, but I really make it a point to test and try out drugstore products so I can recommend them to you guys. You don’t even want to know how many concealers I own in general. Let’s just say that Elsa and I have the same motto: “Conceal, don’t feel.” 7 Best Drugstore Concealers Maybelline Fit Me ConcealerCOVERAGE: Light to Medium // FINISH: NATURALIntroducing the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer – a versatile beauty essential that’s been in my collection for over ten years! It’s not only a good concealer for underneath the eyes, but also for dark spots and blemishes around the face. Catrice True Skin High Cover Concealer COVERAGE: full (buildable) // FINISH: NATURALThis is 100% my top favorite drugstore concealer on this list. It is a full-coverage concealer, is incredibly hydrating, but somehow doesn’t ever look cakey or crease-y, and a lightweight formula. It truly is so special! The Catrice True Skin High Cover Concealer is also enriched with skincare goodies such as hyaluronic acid, ensuring your skin stays nourished and happy throughout the day. If you have mature skin and struggle with the under-eye area, I highly suggest you give this concealer a try. Sometimes I feel like I don’t even need to set it with powder (which also makes me think super oily skin will love this, too). A little goes a long way, but it’s also very easy to blend out and not overdo it. Milani Conceal + Perfect Longwear ConcealerCOVERAGE: full // FINISH: Satin-MatteIf you’ve got oily skin and like concealers that give more of a matte finish, you’ll love the Milani Conceal and perfect! This one has full coverage that’s definitely buildable. For me, this is my favorite concealer on the list to cover my acne scars and texture around the face – I don’t love it as much under the eyes. But if you have an oily eye area, this is a great option for you! I really like the applicator, as well. A little goes a long way with this concealer! Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Multi-Use ConcealerCOVERAGE: Medium-full // FINISH: NaturalI have loved and have been purchasing this Maybelline concealer at my local drugstore for over ten years! Apparently it’s America’s number 1 concealer, and for a good reason. It really is one of the best concealers out there. This sleek concealer comes in an easy-to-use applicator pen, making it a breeze to apply and carry with you. The creamy formula is enriched with haloxyl, which works to reduce the appearance of puffiness and dark circles while promoting a smoother, brighter skin tone. The unique sponge applicator ensures effortless blending, leaving a natural finish. Some do not love the sponge tip applicator, but I find that it makes applying the product super easy. Shade 120 is the perfect match for me, but I love that this product also has a Neutralizing and Brightener shade! I even have one of the darker shades that works really well as a cream contour. Flower Beauty Get Real Serum ConcealerCOVERAGE: Medium // FINISH: natural-dewyIf you want a concealer with the most natural-looking coverage, look no further! This Flower Beauty serum concealer is the perfect concealer for a “no makeup makeup look,” and even when you want to be a little more glam. The lightweight, serum-like texture ensures a natural finish that won’t crease or settle into fine lines, leaving you with a radiant complexion that looks fresh all day. Available in a range of shades to suit various skin tones, this concealer not only hides flaws but also enhances your skin’s overall health and appearance. To me, this is a really good Ilia Serum Concealer dupe, so if you like that one you need to give this a try! While it is a newer launch from Flower Beauty, it truly is one of my top picks. I use this one mostly as an eye concealer, and not around the face all that much, but I know it works well either way. e.l.f. Hydrating Camo ConcealerCOVERAGE: full // FINISH: dewy-naturalWant a full coverage hydrating concealer? Look no further. e.l.f. Cosmetics hit it out of the park with their Hydrating Camo concealer! If you’ve got dry skin or a dry under eye area, you will absolutely love this product. It is the right concealer for uneven skin tone, the under eye area, and for those that want a full coverage formula. It won’t even look like you’re suffering from a complete lack of sleep, lol! The large doe-foot applicator covers a big surface area, but also a little goes a long way. The long-lasting formula with great coverage wears so well throughout the day. The Best High End Shimmer BlushesHere are the best shimmer blushes that you can find at high end prices. For your convenience, I’ve linked them at multiple retailers. I’ve got four powder blushes and one cream blush to share. Hourglass Ambient Lighting BlushThis is not your ordinary blush – it’s like a little pot of magic for your cheeks. These blushes are so finely crafted with Photoluminescent Technology that they literally capture and scatter light, leaving your skin with this incredible, natural-looking glow. It does not emphasize fine lines and texture, and it looks so gorgeous on all skin types. While this one is the priciest one in the bunch, it really is my holy grail. I love the shade Sublime Flush (it’s a gorgeous pink shade with a hint of gold and lilac) but there are a variety of shades to suit all skin tones. This powder blush is a buildable formula, really easy to use, and it’s lasted me such a long time! This is definitely my top powder blush for mature skin. bareMinerals GenNude Blonzer This product is so fun and unique, because it is like a blush and a bronzer in one compact! Imagine getting that sun-kissed, just-got-back-from-vacation glow without ever stepping out into the sun. The bareMinerals Gen Nude Blonzer does just that. It’s like a magical concoction of blush and bronzer that effortlessly blends to give your cheeks a warm, radiant flush. I had to include this product in this post just because the shimmer texture is absolutely gorgeous, and it’s such a great “swipe it on and go” type of product. The shade range in this product will work for all skin tones. Kiss of Pink will be great for fair skin tones, while Kiss of Copper will work on more tan skin. A little goes a long way and the natural glow it gives is just beautiful. NARS BlushThis blog post wouldn’t be complete without mention of the classic and cult favorite Nars Blush. These have consistently been named some of the best blushes for years, and for good reason. I know I’ve loved this blush formula for over ten years! There are a few shades in this product that do have a matte finish, but all of the shimmer shades are to die for. They work on a wide range of skin tones and give a radiant finish. Of course, we have the classic “Orgasm” shade, which looks great on almost everyone, but I also highly recommend the shade Sin. Too Faced Cloud Crush Blurring BlushThis blush is newer to my collection (and it’s a newer product in general), but it has quickly risen to the top of my favorite powder shimmer blushes I own. I have the shade Golden Hour and I know it will look great on so many different skin tones and types, especially mature skin. It gives a gorgeous natural flush to the cheeks without looking too heavy. This product comes in a “satin” and “matte” finish, and the “satin” finish is the one that has some shimmer to it. It is not chunky, nor does it emphasize texture. This powder formula is so luxurious and soft! Charlotte Tilbury Beauty Highlighter Wand I had to include a cream/liquid product in this blog post, and couldn’t help but share the iconic Charlotte Tilbury beauty wand! This product is technically a “highlighter” but the shades Pinkgasm and Peachgasm are beautiful shimmer liquid blushes that give the most amazing glow to the cheeks. Yes, this is a pricey product, but they are a beautiful formula, and a makeup staple in so many makeup artists’ kits. It really is one of the best liquid blushes around. Are there some color and formula dupes out there? Sure. But there’s nothing quite like the real thing, too. The Best Drugstore Shimmer BlushesLooking to save a little money? Let’s get to the best drugstore shimmer blushes! I guarantee you’ll find a blush you’ll love in this list! Milani Baked BlushWhat an iconic drugstore shimmer blush! I have this one in every single shade in my makeup collection, and they really are the best you’ll find at an affordable price. My favorite shades are Bronzed Berry and Petal Primavera, although it seems the most popular shade is Luminoso. There is a shade in this product guaranteed to complement every makeup look you do. This blush compact has a beautiful silky texture, and has been a best seller for years. Do not skip this one if you’re on the fence! Essence Pure Nude Baked BlushThis baked blush from Essence is a newer launch (and one of my favorite drugstore launches of 2023)! This drugstore blush reminds me a lot of the Hourglass Ambient Lighting blushes, but at a much lower price point! This blush offers a stunning, shimmery flush of color that gives your cheeks a radiant and healthy glow. Its finely milled formula makes it incredibly easy to blend, ensuring a seamless application. The best part? It’s under $6! Bananas. The shade Shimmery Rose is really great for fair skin tones, and can even be used as a blush topper, but there is a shade that will work for everyone. Flower Beauty Flower Pots Powder BlushThis shimmery powder blush is so underrated! The shade “Warm Hibiscus” is almost a dead on dupe for Nars Orgasm, as well. It comes in a satin and shimmer finish, and you will not be disappointed! It has a really nice buildable coverage, so it’s easy to work with and not overdo. Flower Beauty is kind of hard to find within stores, so your best bet is to shop online. e.l.f. Halo Glow Blush Beauty WandIf you’re looking for a good drugstore liquid blush, this one is absolutely fabulous! It’s a new release from e.l.f., and I have been really impressed. The only thing I do not love is the packaging – it can get a bit messy. But the product is a really gorgeous formula that looks amazing on the cheeks. Enriched with skin-loving ingredients like Squalane, this blush not only enhances your look but also provides a hydrating boost for a radiant finish.
